Our Team

David Skriloff CEO & Director

Mr. Skriloff serves as the CEO of Environmental Packaging Technologies (EPT) and prior to that he was the Portfolio Manager of MKM, a multi-million dollar hedge fund that has historically invested in microcap public companies as well as private companies. Before forming MKM in 2008, Mr. Skriloff served as the Managing Director – Research and Investments at Vision Capital Advisors, LLC from January 2006 to December 2007. At Vision Capital Advisors, he participated in the growth of assets under management from $12 million in January 2006 to $625 million in December 2007.

Prior to Vision Capital, he served as an Executive Vice President of Business Development for Millivision, Inc., and served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of eGlobe, Inc., a global telecommunications Nasdaq listed company. Prior to joining eGlobe, he served with Gerard Klauer Mattison & Co., a registered investment bank and eGlobe’s financial banker, where he held the position of Senior Associate before being promoted to Vice President of Corporate Finance.

He also served as an Associate at The American Acquisition Company, a venture capital group and was a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Performance Technologies, Inc., a computer software company. Mr. Skriloff received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1987 and an M.B.A. from New York University in 1992.

Shane Sims COO

Mr. Sims has been with EPT since 2007 working in various positions within the Company’s sales and engineering functions and working his way to his current position. Mr. Sims is the primary inventor and architect of the Company’s BIG Red LIQUIRIDE™ product along with most of the entire manufacturing process. Prior to EPT, Mr. Sims has been an entrepreneur and business owner of several logistic and distribution companies.

Bryant Pike CFO

Bryant is a Canadian CPA by trade and began his career advising public and private clients with Ernst & Young LLP.  Bryant has over 12 years of experience in senior financial executive roles. Most recently he was the CFO and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development of Rainmaker Entertainment Inc. (TSXV: WOW.A) from 2008 until his departure in 2017.

In addition to his public company and capital market experience, Bryant has also packaged, produced, and financed several independent films with budgets ranging from $2M-$40M.  He is currently a financial consultant to a number of public and private companies.

Rana Vig Director

Mr. Vig has over 30 years of business experience during which time he has helped to launch five business ventures in private industry. He has been involved in publicly traded companies since 2010, first serving as EVP at a company then leading the industry in proprietary algorithmic securities trading systems and recently as director and Vice Chair of RewardStream Solutions Inc., an award winning automated referral marketing solutions company that powered loyalty and referral marketing programs across 39 countries for brands including AT&T, Sprint, Telus, Boost Mobile, and more.

From 2011 to 2016 he was the President of Musgrove Minerals, an Idaho focused gold and copper mining exploration company, and from 2013 to 2016, he was the Chairman and CEO of Continental Precious Minerals Inc., a TSX senior board listed mining exploration company with a focus on advancing one of the largest uranium deposits in the world located in Sweden.

Beyond private enterprise, Mr. Vig is a former chair of British Columbia’s Open Learning Agency, an active investor, and has and continues to serve on numerous public company boards and committees. He is also active in several charitable and community organizations acting as chair, director and advisor.

In November 2017, he was invited to the Canadian Senate to receive the Senate 150th Anniversary Medal – medals awarded to Canadians actively involved in their communities who, through generosity, dedication and hard work, make their hometowns and communities, a better place to live.

Ian Troop Director

Mr. Troop worked 20 years at Procter & Gamble leading businesses in North America, Mexico and Poland, and 6 years as President of ConAgra Foods’ International Division where he built a $1.5 billion Global Food business. He has served on numerous Public and private business boards.

Mr. Troop was CEO of the Toronto 2015 Pan/Para Pan American Games. This organization delivered the largest sports infrastructure project in Canadian history on schedule and under budget. He was named one of Canada’s Top CEOs of the Future by The Financial Post, Wilfrid Laurier University top 100 Alumni of the past 100 years, and awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for his “significant community achievements and extraordinary contribution”

Sokhie Puar Director

Mr. Puar, with over 30 years in the public markets, has worked in various capacities in both public and private companies. He has worked with companies in the mining, oil and gas, technology, education and clean energy sectors since 2001. Most recently, Mr. Puar was the CEO and Chairman of Candelaria Mining Corp. from February 2012 to September 2017. During his tenure, Candelaria Mining Corp. raised in excess of $28 million and acquired several mining projects in Mexico. Mr. Puar holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Diploma in Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Mr. Puar currently sits on the board of several public and private companies including the board of Governors of Southpointe Academy, an independent school located in Tsawwassen, B.C., where he Chairs the Governance Committee.

Steven Lefkowitz Director

Mr. Lefkowitz is the Founder of Wade Capital Corporation a financial advisory services company focused on small and middle markets and has been its President since June 1990. Mr. Lefkowitz has also served as a director of both publicly traded and privately held companies. He is currently a director of Cormedix, Inc. a publicly traded company listed on the AMEX and AIS, RE, a privately held reinsurance company domiciled in Bermuda. He served as the interim Chief Financial Officer of CorMedix from August 15, 2013 to July 20, 2014. Mr. Lefkowitz received his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1977 and his M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1985.
